For a $5.00 donation, obtain a map and enjoy a complimentary chocolate treat at each participating business. Proceeds benefit the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society and PVA Community events.

The 2026 Pickerington Earth Day Celebration will be Saturday, April 25 in Pickerington Village. 

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Combustion Brewery & Tap Room with the Pickerington Lions Community Clean-up. Volunteer to join the litter collecting crew or plant trees at one of Pickerington's two nature preserves. Wear long sleeves and closed-toed shoes. Tools will be provided by Green Columbus. Bring your plastic grocery bags for the Lions to recycle. They will also be collecting eye glass donations.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.,  Wild Ones of Fairfield County will be at Combustion handing out free shrubs and trees to those who request them in advance via: Wild Ones Fairfield County Ohio: Earth Day 2026 Tree Giveaway

Starting at 3:00 p.m., Fairfield County Park District will be leading an informative Wildflower Hike starting at Coyote Run Nature Preserve. You must register in advance through Pickerington Parks & Recreation at: City of Pickerington
