The 2026 Pickerington Earth Day Celebration will be Saturday, April 25 in Pickerington Village. 

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Combustion Brewery & Tap Room with the Pickerington Lions Community Clean-up. Volunteer to join the litter collecting crew or plant trees at one of Pickerington's two nature preserves. Wear long sleeves and closed-toed shoes. Tools will be provided by Green Columbus. Bring your plastic grocery bags for the Lions to recycle. They will also be collecting eye glass donations.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.,  Wild Ones of Fairfield County will be at Combustion handing out free shrubs and trees to those who request them in advance via: Wild Ones Fairfield County Ohio: Earth Day 2026 Tree Giveaway

Starting at 3:00 p.m., Fairfield County Park District will be leading an informative Wildflower Hike starting at Coyote Run Nature Preserve. You must register in advance through Pickerington Parks & Recreation at: City of Pickerington

Businesses throughout the Village will be hosting Earth Day sales and activities.

For a $5.00 donation, obtain a map and enjoy a complimentary chocolate treat at each participating business. Proceeds benefit the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society and PVA Community events.

Only 300 maps are available. Those not reserved in advance will be available the night of the event. You need a map to get the treats. WE SOLD OUT LAST YEAR. Plan ahead!

Partnering with the Pickerington Village Association’s Holiday Gathering and City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, we’re pulling out all the stops to make this one spectacular, can’t-miss event.

We’re calling on YOU—our vibrant businesses, organizations, and community groups—to join the fun and showcase your creativity! Colorful floats, festive music, and a sea of smiling faces will light up the town as we parade through the heart of Pickerington. Whether you bring a show-stopping float, a lively marching group, or a decked-out vehicle, this is your chance to shine!

The Pickerington Village Association welcomes you to the Pickerington Fairy House Trail Scavenger Hunt. This magical experience is family-friendly and a delight to visitors of all ages. The tiny houses have been created by local art students, as well as Scout troops and local residents. Follow the trail and explore Pickerington landmarks and businesses.
On October 17 & 18, during the 2025 Wands & Wizards Weekend, visitors completing the trail will receive a free treat.
Make FiiZ Drinks your last stop and receive a free popcorn, courtesy of the Pickerington Village Association, and sign up to win a $50 gift card and Wands & Wizards t-shirt.
